At the invitation of Sesc Pinheiros, Alex Červený (1963, São Paulo, Brazil) has developed a special project for its new reading space, in São Paulo. The artist has created a mural with drawings and literary excerpts, paying homage to literature —an inspiration for many of his works.
Among the textual fragments —selected in collaboration with Beto Furquim, the project's literary curator— are excerpts taken from Drummond, Ana Maria Gonçalves, Clarice Lispector, João Cabral de Melo Neto as well as Homer, Haruki Murakami, Omar Khayyámm, in addition to Mariana do Alcofarado and Paul B. Preciado.
