‘Fullgás’ presents an overview of 1980s Brazilian art

Fullgás - artes visuais e anos 1980 no Brasil [visual arts and the 1980s in Brazil], an exhibition at the CCBB Rio de Janeiro, opens on October 2nd.
The show is curated by Raphael Fonseca, Amanda Tavares, and Tálisson Melo and presents a panorama of Brazilian artistic production from a decade marked by artistic experimentation and by the restoration of democracy.
The show includes works by Alex Červený, in the section O tempo não para; by Emannuel Nassar, in Que país é este; by José Bento in Beat acelerado; and by Nelson Felix in the section entitled Pássaros na garganta.
Fullgás is on view in Rio de Janeiro through January 27 and will then be shown at the CCBBs in São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, and Brasília.
