Maxwell Alexandre was awarded Best Exhibition by the APCA (São Paulo Art Critics’ Association).

On Monday, January 20, the APCA gave the award for Best Nation Exhibition to Novo Poder. passabilidade, the solo exhibition held by Maxwell Alexandre at Sesc Avenida Paulista, São Paulo, from April to December 2024. The awards ceremony is set to take place in April at Teatro Sérgio Cardoso, also in São Paulo.

The series Novo Poder: passabilidade—which titled the exhibition—began in 2023 and took on a new form at Sesc through an ambitious installation of more than 50 works, all large-dimension oil paintings on brown kraft paper.
