This Friday, May 3, the Instituto Moreira Salles in São Paulo, kicks off the Festival Serrote, which celebrates the launch of Revista Serrote No. 46, marking the publication's 15th anniversary.

This issue features works from the series Memórias de renda, by Lidia Lisbôa (1970, Terra Roxa, PR, Brazil), which illustrate an essay by Douglas Santana Ariston Sacramento; new drawings by Vivian Caccuri (1986, São Paulo, SP, Brazil), which complement Elvia Bezerra's text; as well as the visual essay O suplício de Cabral, with works by Thiago Rocha Pitta (1980, Tiradentes, MG, Brazil).

On the event's first day, at 8pm, a presentation of the magazine designed for the stage will take place. It includes the performance Mosquitos Também Sambam, conceived for the occasion by Vivian Caccuri and Thiago Lanis, as well as the projection of Thiago Rocha Pitta's works in dialog with the band Hurtmold.
