Tatiana Blass (1979, São Paulo) will open Balanço Alicerce, her solo show at the Instituto Figueiredo Ferraz in Ribeirão Preto on March
The exhibition features approximately 40 works that span across the different mediums, techniques, and materials explored by the artist over her 15-year career. The show is accompanied by a critical text by Bianca Coutinho Dias.
The set encompasses different mediums and varied series. In addition to works in videos and photographs, there are paintings from the Balanço Alicerce series—first presented by Millan in 2023—sculptures from the Metade da fala no chão series—of which the work Piano Surdo, an installation and performance presented at the 29th São Paulo Biennial in 2010 and now part of the IFF's collection, is included—and from the Reviravolta series.
