The installation Me, You and the Moon, 2015, by Tunga (1952, Palmares, PE – 2016, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil) was the subject of an article published in the Estado de Minas newspaper, written by Lorena Marcelino.

"Me, You and the Moon is, above all, a set of contrasts. The materials used include iron, steel, mirror, quartz, gypsum, leather, wood, amber, and terracotta, a mixture of organic and inorganic elements and sculptures made through both industrial processes, like the iron finger, and craftsmanship, like the ceramic basin. Plant fossilization appears both temporally and timelessly. Amber, which results from the plant fossilization process, connects the past to the present through the movement of the essence from the finger to the basin, contrasting with the petrified trunk - the timeless plant fossil."

Me, You and the Moon is on display in the Glass Room of the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo, MAM–SP, until March 3, 2024.
