The solo show Pagan, by Regina Parra (1984, São Paulo, Brazil) is currently on view at Pina Estação, Sao Paulo, through August 13. In addition to paintings, videos and wearable objects, the show features a series of performances. With original music and choreography the next presentations will take place on August 12, starting at 12pm.
Curated by Ana Maria Maia, the exhibition is split into nine scenes —as in a play— and narrates the journey of a woman who abandons her socially comfortable life in pursuit of rituals to reclaim the sovereignty of her body, her desire and her sexuality.
