Túlio Pinto opens solo show ‘Hole in the sky’
Museu Oscar Niemeyer
Curitiba, Paraná

Túlio Pinto (1974, Brasília, DF) opens Buraco no céu [Hole in the sky] at Oscar Niemeyer Museum, in Curitiba, PR. Curated by Roberta Stubs.

"Moving our body between his sculptures and installations is to transit in an interrupted time and space, where the laws of physics, ruled here by another logic, give way to an enchantment in a state of alertness", Stubs writes.

Featuring 32 works, Buraco no céu is Túlio Pinto's first exhibition at MON, and succeeds solo shows at Millan (in 2022 and 2020) and at institutions such as the Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art, USA, the Museum of Art of Rio Grande do Sul, and the Goethe Institut, in Porto Alegre. Last year, the artist made an original project for the 13th Bienal do Mercosul, also in the city of Porto Alegre.

Buraco no céu will be on view until October 22.
